Corner to corner crochet is a perfect way to crochet a solid blanket by creating crochet ‘squares’ and working on the diagonal.
The little squares made by the corner to corner crochet stitch make this technique perfect for working a graphed pattern into the project.
You will start crochet with the low-right corner, and you will increase each row until project is the size you need it. Each row will have one more “pixel” square than the previous row. After you are done with the increases we will do the decreases. You’ll decrease each row by one square until you get to the opposite corner you started in.
In each row you’ll be making one squre which consists of a ch 3 and 3 double crochets and then joining that square to the previous row with a slip stitch.
